GET IN THE GAME became the ultimate call for action and helped transform the power of basketball into the power of participation. By uniting the NBA, its players, and communities across the country, we helped turn civic engagement into a cultural movement. For the first time, NBA arenas became voting arenas as the league cancelled games on Election Day and opened its stadiums as voting centers for the 2022 Midterm and 2024 Primary Elections.

Our integrated campaign inspired a new generation of voters to step off the sidelines and into action. Through national television, digital, social, experiential activations, and CRM outreach, we connected directly with young voters ages 18–29, using the voice and influence of the NBA to encourage participation, amplify awareness, and empower communities to create change through their vote.
